What To Wear, Vol. III

When you close your eyes and think of boudoir lingerie, what do you see?

Lacy black lingerie, complete with a garter belt, stockings and heels?

Maybe something spicy and red?

Very often, I see the softer, pastel-colored pieces of lingerie ignored in favor of bolder, more striking options.  Which is totally understandable!  Boudoir (according to yours truly) is supposed to be mysterious, sultry, and a bit on the darker, moodier side.

But — with that said — I fully believe that you can definitely rock some pink or lavender apparel and still be hella sexy.

Just take Venneé for example.  She opted for a peachy-pink balconette bra with lacy mesh details for her top and a pair of cheeky floral boy shorts for her bottoms.  The pairing went so well together and she is a total stunner in this outfit.

If you’re shopping for your Denver boudoir shoot, maybe take a stroll through some of the aisles that have some more delicate options – you never know what you might find, and something on the lighter side could be a nice contrast to a more bangin’ black lingerie get-up.  I am a huge fan of incorporating as much variety as possible into your shoots and fully support this idea!
