Hey hi hello! Happy new year! š
Yes, I know Iām ten days late, but today is my official back-to-work day so here we are! Iām so excited to get back into the home studio and get a whole new year of boudoir going. Last year was incredible and Iām hoping to recreate all that magic for many new (and even a few repeat!) clients this coming year.
So! A little about me to kick things offā¦
āØ My New Yearās resolution (or goal, I should say) is all about infusing new energy into my life. Covid has turned my usual hobbies upside down, and I find it hard to enjoy the things I used to love pre-pandemic. To help remedy these less-than-positive feelings, Iām aiming to listen to 365 new albums, try 52 new things, and read 12 new books in 2022. So far, Iām trying pole dancing classes, learning how to compost, and am touring a local candy factory in January. Any suggestions for Denver activities?! Albums and books?!
āØ Iām obsessed with the cinema and made a goal to watch all the movies nominated for the major Oscars categories this year. I recently saw Licorice Pizza at the Mayan, my favorite Denver movie theater. If you love a good coming-of-age story, check this film out!
āØ Lastly, Iām excited to announce that Iām back in school! Iām currently taking pre-req courses for an MBA program. Iām enrolled in business finance and principles of management for the spring semester. I just had to buy a TI-83 graphing calculator and realized I havenāt used one in over a decade. Feeling like a boomer over here! I also have to write papers and do things likeā¦cite sources all MLA style or whatever is the gold standard these days. Lord help meā¦
On top of all that, Iām excited to really focus on boudoir this year. Iām taking on fewer weddings than ever before, which will give me more time to work on this side of my business. I canāt wait to see how 2022 will unfold! What do you have planned for this new year?! Maybe a boudoir shoot?!
