Denver Boudoir Photos from a Recent Shoot

It’s been a busy summer over here!  I just wrapped up two accelerated grad school courses and finally have a free moment to update the blog a bit.  While I loved my classes — statistics and communications — I’m glad to be back in the regular semester groove this fall, with managerial economics and strategic change management on deck.  Just this semester and spring semester left and I’ll be a full fledged MBA!  Can’t wait!

Until then, it’s back to the home studio for more boudoir!  I loved this gal’s outfit choices for her boudoir session this past June.  I always encourage strappy things and especially loved that she brought a body chain for the last outfit.  Such a great addition to some already sexy outfits!

Denver Boudoir Photo Session | Ashley Kidder Boudoir

Hair and makeup: Both done by my incredible glam team, KimJ Beauty!  They’re who I call anytime I have a client looking for hair and makeup, for all services: wedding, headshots, engagement photos, and of course, boudoir!

Product ordered: The Beauty Collection, which includes an 8×8 lay-flat album, all the digital images from the shoot, and a $100 gift card for the future.

Retouching level selected: Light to medium, what I like to call Photographer’s Choice.  I have a pretty light hand when it comes to retouching, otherwise known as skin smoothing or airbrushing.  I don’t want you to look at the photos and not recognize yourself!  I try to avoid over-airbrushing your skin and only retouch what’s absolutely necessary.  Clients always have the final say in what their retouching looks like.  We won’t send anything to print until you absolutely love how the final edits look!
