I recently had the joy of being featured in Bold Journey Magazine, and it felt like sharing a cup of coffee with an old friend. They opened with how my character and passion shine through, both personally and professionally, as a Denver photographer.
I shared how my work ethic was shaped by my granddad, Paul, a man who lived through the Great Depression and instilled in me a relentless drive to do work that matters (and to do it well). Those lessons didn’t just stick; they became the foundation for everything I’ve built in my business, from boudoir sessions to intimate micro-weddings.
They also captured some fun bits about life outside the studio: rollerblading, my love for Red Rocks concerts, film photography, and yes, dancing my heart out to Fast & Furious soundtracks (and also seeing every single one of those dumb movies in the theater every time). And if I’m honest, travel is still my favorite teacher about life and culture outside of Denver, as I’ve been to 46 countries thus far and feel like there’s so much more world to explore. I’ll be heading to Europe with my BFF Sarah this summer and I cannot wait to feel that Italian sun on my skin.
I’m so grateful for every client who’s entrusted me with their boudoir sessions. My journey from being a high school French teacher many moons ago to now owning a Denver boudoir studio feels even more meaningful now that I’ve been able to share it through Bold Journey’s thoughtful platform. Thank you again to the team at Bold Journey Mag for the wonderful feature!
