Today’s edition of my regular What To Wear series is devoted to floral prints!
Now, you’re probably wondering — okay, cool, floral prints for boudoir — where are the other inspo photos?!
The truth is this is the only one I have seen come through the home studio doors lately! So, this is more of a “me manifesting more floral print outfits” type of blog post. I think floral prints are so romantic and feminine (while still being sexy) and would love to see more gals bring these patterns in!
As you can see above, the floral print adds visual intrigue into the final photos. It’s more than just a simple satin bra, and it elevates the photo as a whole. I love my client’s complimentary bottoms that aren’t too matchy-matchy.
Finally, the lace fabric of the top and mesh fabric of the bottoms add extra depth. This is my #1 piece of outfit advice (behind the overarching outfit goal of wearing outfits that you love): fabric with more texture (like lace, mesh, velvet, sequins, and now prints!) photographs much better than the simple fabrics like plain satin. Leave that one for your sheets!
What do you think, would you wear a floral print outfit for your boudoir shoot? Or am I way off base here?! Regardless, I hope to see you in the home studio soon, with or without some floral prints. Feel free to get in touch if you’re interested in chatting more about booking yourself a Denver boudoir shoot!
