Hold onto your hats, I have some spicy boudoir outfit inspiration for you today! One of my lovely clients recently wore this getup to her boudoir session and it certainly was a hit. I loved it, she loved it, and her husband loved it! Take a peek below to get an idea of why it was such a banger of an outfit. I’ll let the images speak for themselves!

What I loved about this boudoir outfit:
- All the fun straps! At every phone consultation I have with my clients, we talk about outfits. I always mention how strappy things photography really well, and this outfit is a perfect example of that. It’s sexy, spicy, but still classy at the same time. The straps and geometric shapes add visual intrigue to the final photos.
- The fishnets! You may be surprised by this, but I don’t see a lot of fishnets come through my home studio doors. I see a lot of sheer stockings with lace detail, but rarely do I see fishnet. It photographs supremely well! So, if you’re thinking of spicing up your outfits for your future boudoir session, I’d like to officially suggest you consider some fishnets!
- The red lip! I get it — a red lip can be intimidating. It isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay! But if you’re feeling bold and would prefer to do a striking lip color (over a smoky eye, for example), then perhaps a red lip is in the cards! I also love that my client paired her nail color with her lip color. They both provided for a nice little pop of color to the black fabric in her outfit.
