What to Wear, Vol. XII

Welcome to the latest volume of What to Wear for your Denver boudoir shoot!  I am over the moon excited to talk about this next outfit, worn by a repeat client of mine who came back this year for her second boudoir shoot with me.

Let’s get into it!

What I loved about this boudoir outfit:

  • I mean, isn’t it obvious?!   I always tell my clients to choose boudoir outfits with texture.  That means: lace, mesh, fishnet, strappy things, rhinestone crystals, and chains as seen above!  Textured fabrics will always add more visual intrigue to the final photos than, say, a basic fabric like plain satin or plain silk.
  • The chains!  I especially love how they really shine and pop in the black and white photos.  You can see the sparkle from a mile away!
  • It’s something different.  Don’t get me wrong, I love classic lingerie.  But I also love it when clients step outside the box a bit!  I’ve only seen chains come through the home studio doors a few times thus far.  I highly encourage any client who has the appetite for an outfit like this to lean into it!  If you’re feeling spicy, I say go for it!

Once this babe threw this getup on, I could feel her confidence shift.  It was an instant confidence booster.  Hard not to feel on top of the world in an outfit like this!

If you’re thinking of grabbing something like this for your upcoming Denver boudoir shoot, take a look at Frederick’s of Hollywood, which is where my client above purchased this stunning piece.  Etsy is also a great place to search for body chains and body jewelry like this.

That’s all for today’s volume of What to Wear!  Feel free to peruse past editions of What to Wear here to check out the latest trends of what my boudoir clients are wearing to their session.

As always, thank you for stopping by the blog!  I’m always around for a chat if you’d like to get in touch and start planning your future Denver boudoir session!
