What to Wear, Vol. IX

Y’all, this bodysuit is it.  I see this particular style come through my little home studio doors quite frequently.  And for good reason!  It’s flattering on every single client I’ve seen wear it.  The scalloped lace trim details and the deep V add just enough intrigue without showing too much skin.

If my words aren’t convincing enough, take it from my gorgeous client below:

Outfit: From Amazon!  I don’t love giving Jeff Bezos any time to shine on this blog here, so I’ll link some other options for similar bodysuits instead:

Hair and makeup: Done by my always-reliable hair and makeup team, KimJ Beauty! We’ve known each other and worked together for something like…over a decade at this point!  I wish I could remember exactly when (and where) we met, back when I was full-time with weddings and family photos! Kim + her team worked a total of 62 shoots with me last year in 2022 and are scheduled for around 30 more for 2023 — if not more as my schedule continues to fill out!  I’m so thankful to have an awesome hair + makeup team who knows exactly what my clients want and need for their boudoir hair styling and makeup application.

Products ordered: An 8×8 heirloom album with 20 thick, durable pages, a synthetic leather cover, and a lay-flat spine, perfect for repeat viewings for years to come.

Retouching level selected: Photographer’s choice, which is an “as you need it” basis where each photo is retouched based on exactly what it needs — and not a general, “one retouching level fits all” situation.  Sometimes, certain lighting in photos will make you look ethereal and render no need for retouching at all!  Other times, direct sunlight can be a tiny bit harsh, so there’s nothing wrong with a little airbrushing to balance that out.
